Notes from Liz McNett Crowl . . . Join us at the Foothills Annual Branch Celebration on November 17th from 5pm to 8pm at the North Bellevue Community Center! We will celebrate the accomplishments of the Foothills Branch in 2024 and honor the Foothills Branch Service Award winner and volunteers. Most of all, there will be plenty of opportunities to socialize with new and old friends! Our first in-person Branch social in a few years. The Branch will purchase some sandwiches, veggie and fruit tray. We invite participants to sign up for potluck as well. All foods should be "finger foods": Hearty Appetizers: pizza, savory galette, quiche, charcuterie, small rolls with meat and cheese, hummus and pita chips, cheese and crackers...), Vegetarian Appetizers: Does not include meat-- veggie tray with dip, veggie bites (like zucchini pesto rolls,,,) Vegan Appetizers: Do not include animal products Fruit appetizers: watermelon or melon slices, melon chunks on a stick, grapes..., Desserts: Lemon Bars, Caramel Pecan Bars, fruit crisp bars, sweet galette, brownies, tartlets..., We will provide plates, cups and napkins. Everyone brings their non-alcoholic beverage of choice. You should bring serving utensils and a 4 by 6-inch index card with the name and ingredients for your potluck contribution.
