Notes from Nicolette Stephens . . . Hi Everyone! Grace Church is excited about our 2024 Thanksgiving Dinner Service of Thankfulness. We are looking forward to spending FRIDAY evening, November 22nd with one another. Please take note that this is a change to the meal as it has been on Thursday night in past years. We will gather together to eat, make a craft, and spend some time giving thanks to God at our tables. During the sharing time, childcare will be available in the nursery for children 3 and under. Older children are welcome to head upstairs to watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. Thank you for being willing to bring a dish or two to share out of the abundance that the Lord has blessed us with. When you sign up to bring a meal, please include your phone number and email, but it will not be able to be seen by others in the sign up link. Providing your email is the way that we will remind you to bring the items you signed up for 3 days prior to the dinner. Also, when you sign up with your name, please put plus (+) however many other people are coming with you, whether it's friends or family. So, as an example my sign up would be: Nicolette Stephens (+6). This is so we can get an estimate of how many people to set up for at the dinner. Please plan to bring your food sliced/hot/ready to be served at 5:30 pm. If you are unable to bring food for whatever reason, but you would still like to celebrate with us, please sign up at the bottom of the sign up list under the RSVP only section and indicate how many people will be attending with you. Also, please use this event as an opportunity to invite a friend or family that you think might enjoy spending the evening with our church family! We love to see new faces and make new friends here at Grace. If you have any questions, or would like to volunteer for set up, decorating, serving, or clean up, please send a text or email to Nicolette Stephens at 434.872.1653.
