You're Invited to Our July Cookbook Club
Ah, summer is here! For me, the pace is a little slower and I'm able to get to some things I've wanted to do, but time hasn't allowed. One thing that I've wanted to do for a while is find a way to engage more fully with YOU! I enjoy keeping in touch via our blog email, but that doesn't allow for much back and forth conversation.
In order to get to know each other better, I'm hosting a virtual Cookbook Club for the month of July, and you're invited! I'm Adina, the co-founder of Take Them A Meal, and a frequent meal provider myself. Together, I'd love to find some new, delicious (but not too complicated) recipes we can use for ourselves and take to others.
Here's how it works:
I selected two cookbooks, so we can prepare some recipes from them together during the month of July.
  1. Request to join our private TTAM Cookbook Club on Facebook (you can do that now)
  2. Pick a recipe (or more) from either cookbook and make it
  3. Take a photo of the finished recipe (if you can)
  4. Post the photo, recipe name/page number
  5. Let everyone know how it turned out and share any tips
Here are the cookbooks:
You can find both cookbooks on Amazon or at your local bookstore/library.
Hope's Table - We selected Hope Helmuth's cookbook, Hope's Table, because she lives in our community and we've grown to appreciate many of the Mennonite foods prepared locally.
Natasha's Kitchen - Nadia, our social media manager, is a fan of Natasha Kravchuk's cookbook and introduced me to it. Natasha's family came to the U.S. as Ukrainian refugees when she was a child. Her parent's passion for food was passed down and Natasha shares many tested and delicious recipes.
I can't wait to connect with you on a more personal level and have some fun together trying out new recipes! See you at our Cookbook Club in July!
