When we discovered that she had a free Thanksgiving eCookbook, we wanted to share it with you. While it's a little early to cook our turkey and stuffing, we decided to try out one of the Janelle's Thanksgiving eCookbook recipes that's great for autumn too. Here is her excellent recipe for Baked Caramel Apples that is included in the eCookbook. Start with beautiful apples. These are Gala, but it would be just as good with Granny Smith or other baking apples. Remove the apple peels and cores. Cut into medium-sized pieces. In a sauce pan, combine the sugar, water, butter, salt and flour and heat until bubbling. Pour caramel sauce over top. Dot with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and bake. These baked caramel apples were served over vanilla ice cream. We prepared 1/3 of the full recipe. Baked Caramel Apples
