How to Easily Extend a Meal Schedule! DECEMBER 31, 2024 / KELLI NAPOTNIK / I recently received an email asking how to extend a meal schedule. The meal recipient's schedule was coming to an end. She still needed meals and didn't know how to request an extension. Grief and hardship have no timeline, making it difficult to know how long meals are needed. Fortunately, we've made it easy to extend any meal schedule, and would like to show you how!
We've simplified the process of navigating the free online tool that is Take Them A Meal. We share Recipes that are easy to transport. Each week we provide articles on our blog about how to care for your family and friends when they are facing a difficult time. Recently, we've added our Shop to support you with your meal-taking needs! Most importantly, we want to direct you to our Help page. We've done our best to answer any questions that may arise when using our site or creating a meal schedule.
If your meal schedule is about to end and you still need meals, there's no need to create a new one. Here are three easy steps to extend your current schedule!
Step 1: Ask your meal coordinator to log into their 'Coordinator Settings.' From there, click 'Edit Meal Schedule.'
Step 2: Scroll down to adjust the dates of when meals are needed.
Step 3: Click 'Update Meal Schedule' at the bottom of the page and any changes that have been made will be saved!
Removing dates from a meal schedule is equally as simple. To do this, simply click the gray button located on the far right of the date you wish to remove, and then select the option to remove that date from your schedule.
Have you ever needed to extend a meal schedule but weren't aware you could easily add more dates? Are you a meal coordinator who realizes that your meal recipient needs additional dates on their current schedule? I hope I've encouraged you to visit our Help page with any questions you may have! Our whole team is here to support you! Don't hesitate to reach out to us with any further questions you may have. We're always happy to help!
